专辑名称：Women and Children Die First
I gotta say that this cover artwork is possibly the most powerful visual I have ever seen on a CD jacket. I haven't heard anything about this one being banned at Walmart, but if it happened to Anti-Flag it looks like it could happen in this case as well.
On their second album, "Women and Children Die First", Remembering Never decided to stop being pissed off about relationships and start being pissed off about something far more paramount: the state of civilization around them. In the process, they deliver a pretty stiff blow to their former selves, commenting in the linear notes, "being in a hardcore band makes it my privilege and responsibility to share ideas rather than worry about what color she looks good in". So true it is that while many in the hardcore music community scoff at mainstream music community for being so superficial and fashion-obsessed when the same thing is going on in this very scene. The guys from Remembering Never have come to that realization, and the result is sophomore album that comes out swinging, loaded with determination and inspiration.
The music itself touches down on a variety of points in the hardcore and metal spectra. The starting point is a lot of mid-tempo, heavy-as-[内容被过滤，请注意论坛文明] chugging, from which they depart seemingly every couple dozen seconds into fits of full-throttle hardcore, melodic interludes with singing, and lumbering metallic breakdowns. They're constantly changing course, so there's little opportunity for it to go stale. I can't think of a metalcore album in this vein I've appreciated more.
