For three years now Arirang Television has brought you “Let’s Speak Korean.” This new version maintains the goals of teaching the language and culture of Korea. Our new 10-minute format, however, is aimed at complimenting your other Korean language studies, and therefore is able to bring you a fresh and more spontaneous design.
The host, Lisa, brings her Korean fluency and over a decade of experience in Korea along with years of broadcast and teaching experience to the show. Stephen, a professor at Han-yang University, has over 8 years experience in Korea and a Master’s degree in Teaching Korean as a Second Language. Along with two real learners of the Korean language they bring you a lively and detailed description of the day’s grammar. Our flash animation corner, “Wrap It Up,” provides a recap of the day’s lesson. All this is prepared and overseen by the professionals at Seoul National University’s Korean Education Department.
In just 10 minutes a day, we will provide you with a fun and entertaining way to overcome your stereotypes about Korea and Korean and thereby learn more about the language and people of this great country.
