Cinema 4D 的前身是 1989 年发表的软件 FastRay，最初只发表在 Amiga 上。Amiga 是一种早期的个人电脑系统，当时还没有图形界面。两年后，在 1991 年 FastRay 更新到了1.0，但是，这个软件当时还并没有有涉及到三维领域。1993 年 FastRay 更名为 CINEMA 4D 1.0，仍然在 Amiga 上发布。

Do not unzip the language files - they are meant to be installed AS IS, in ZIP format.
After you install the program and launch it, go to the HELP menu, and select MANUAL INSTALL. In the file requester, choose the .ZIP file for the language you want to install. Cinema 4D will want to connect to Maxon’s online update servers while it installs the language file, so if you are paranoid, you can use something like Little Snitch (Mac) or unplug your network cable to prevent it from connecting to Maxon’s server. The manual install will work just fine without the connection. Cinema 4D will restart, and finish up the manual install. The manual is ONLY available through the program, from the HELP menu, which kind of sucks because I love to have a printed manual, but there it is.
在国外论坛上看到的还有一种安装帮助文件的方法，就是拔掉网线，手动安装，有的说成功了

可以用，用ultraiso最新版打开，然后复制里面的文件到一个文件夹就可以用了
