EA旗下Visceral Games今日正式宣布恐怖求生游戏续作《死亡空间2》（Dead Space 2），游戏预定将在 PC、PS3、Xbox 360 平台推出，发售日期未正式公布。

游戏主角伊萨克．克拉克（Isaac Clarke）将再次在《死亡空间2》世界登场，他将运用他的电离子切割机与其他更多的新道具，想办法从名为 Necromorphs 恐怖怪物包围中杀出血路。另外，新作中将会出现辅助伊萨克．克拉克的新角色。Visceral Games 游戏执行制作人 Steve Papoutsis 承诺新游戏除了会增加更多、更恐怖的 Necromorphs 外，还将会有更曲折更丰富的故事情节。

美商艺电资深副总 Nick Earl 表示，我们就像全球众多的玩家般热爱《死亡空间》系列，且非常兴奋地向大家宣布此系列的新作。

跨平台恐怖求生游戏《死亡空间》一代为限制级游戏，游戏故事背景发生在一艘巨大的采矿船石村号（USG Ishimura），在遥远的外太空星系巧遇神秘的外星制品，却原因不明地与地球失去联系。工程师伊萨克．克拉克（Isaac Clarke）奉命修理石村号的通讯系统，结果整艘船成了漂浮的血池，船员遭到虐杀，还感染了古老的外星病毒，克拉克不只得为了拯救自己而战，还得想办法将外星制品送回行星。

《死亡空间》系列也于今年 9、10 月分别在各地推出前传《死亡空间：血统》（Dead Space Extraction），为 Wii 平台作品。

Steve Papoutsis 表示，在《死亡空间2》中，疫情持续蔓延，主角伊萨克．克拉克将是唯一能控制疫情的英雄，但仍将面对遭 Necromorphs 杀害的威胁。二代中并非每件事会像眼睛所见一样就是事实，玩家可以期待曲折的游戏情节，将带来极大的惊奇，且有大量的扭曲、恶心的怪物，将会吓你一大跳。

Engineer Isaac  Clarke returns  for another  blood-curdling adventure  in Dead
Space 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed horror adventure. After waking
