The police have no shortages of suspects in the murder of a retired military officer who got his head bashed in with a hammer left nearby. Can Father Brown, a priest with a fondness for puzzles, solve the case?

Father Brown's host is found stabbed to death with a narrow blade but no murder weapon on the premises. Does he have the answer to the crime?

3 :01x03 - The Curse of the Golden Cross (Oct/10/1974)
An archaeologist informs Father Brown that a mysterious voice inside a cave accused him of stealing a golden cross and now he is in fear of his life.

4 :01x04 - The Eye of Apollo (Oct/17/1974)
A "priest of Apollo" persuades a follower to alter her will in favor of his "church". When she falls down an elevator shaft to her death Father Brown suspects murder.

After taking part in a radio discussion, Father Brown learns that one of his fellow panelists, a Scotch philanthropist, has been found shot to death.

A controversial magistrate is shot and killed and Father Brown believes a broken mirror will help identify the guilty party.

A black magician dies before he can confess his sins to Father Brown. Then the man's sons begin dying under suspicious circumstances and the good padre decides to investigate.

Father Brown tries to help a man who's been on the receiving end of threatening letters but the man gets killed by an arrow.

13 :01x13 - The Secret Garden (Dec/19/1974)
Father Brown is called to investigate the beheading of a man committed in a closed garden. It's a classic locked room puzzle for the padre.
