这是The Cure的第三张录音室专辑。
大概是因为乐队成员的频繁更换,这是乐队对未来产生了莫名的恐惧,害怕失败,害怕解散,甚至害怕没人为他们发行以后的专辑.1981年的"FAITH"中强烈的幽闭感和对此的恐惧体现了乐队当时的心态.所幸的是这张专辑爬上了英国排行榜的第十四,比前两张专辑更为成功.单曲"PRIMARY"也同样取得了成功.尽管乐队并未摆脱那种歇斯底里的情绪对他们的影响.
