The Host: NICK CANNON

Nick Cannon joins "America's Got Talent" as the new host of the fourth season of NBC's summer reality competition series, which brings the variety format back to the forefront of American culture.
Cited by People magazine as one of the "Top Ten Most Successful Young People in Hollywood," Cannon also was featured on the cover of Black Enterprises' "40 Under 40." Cannon, 28, is a successful, multi-faceted entertainer: film star, comedian, musician, writer and executive producer of his own hit TV shows.
A San Diego native, Cannon began performing at the age of eight after his grandfather left him several instruments as gifts. Through what Cannon recalls as "a lot of trial and failure," he recorded his first song at home on his boom box. Soon after, Cannon took to the stage to perform his music along with standup comedy.
Cannon headed for Hollywood at age 15 and landed gigs at world-renowned comedy venues, including the Improv, the Laugh Factory and the Comedy Store. Cannon went on to share the stage with the likes of Chris Tucker, Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock before landing his first television gig as a standup audience warm-up for the long-running Nickelodeon hit show "All That." Producers quickly recognized Cannon's calling was in front of the camera and he became a regular on the show as well as a writer, making him the youngest staff writer in television history at the age of 17. This path culminated in the creation of "The Nick Cannon Show"" in which he starred, directed and executive produced -- all of which earned him his first Kids' Choice Award.
Cannon's powerful stage presence captivated more than just pint-sized audiences. While he enjoyed tremendous success on Nickelodeon, Cannon's career catapulted onto the big screen in 2002. He made an appearance alongside Will Smith in "Men in Black II" before landing a leading role in the feature "Drumline." That same year he released his own self-titled debut album, and has collaborated with a host of other musicians, such as Kanye West, the Neptunes, Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Will Smith, R. Kelly and E-40, on soundtracks and other projects.


The Judge:PIERS MORGAN

Piers Morgan -- recently crowned the first-ever "Celebrity Apprentice" winner by Donald Trump -- returns as a judge on "America's Got Talent," NBC's summer reality competition series, which brings the variety format back to the forefront of American culture.
A former editor of the London Daily Mirror, Morgan was arguably the best-known national newspaper editor since his good friend Kelvin MacKenzie edited the Sun in the 1980s. He became editor of the News of the World at the age of 28 -- the youngest national newspaper editor for more than 50 years. Two years later, he was recruited to edit the Daily Mirror. During this time, he was responsible for breaking several high-profile stories and also became close friends with Princess Diana. In 2006, he launched "First News," the first weekly newspaper for children that endeavors to educate them on social and political issues in a language they can understand.
On television, Morgan served as host for two episodes of "Tabloid Tales" for BBC1 during the show's 2002/03 season. Additionally, he hosted a three-part series "The Importance of Being Famous," the one-hour documentary "The Death of Celebrity," as well as "You Can't Fire Me, I'm Famous." He also served as a contestant in a celebrity version of the U.K.'s "The Apprentice" which raised money for Comic Relief. Most recently, Morgan is a judge on "Britain's Got Talent" with Simon Cowell, which premiered last year to incredible ratings. Morgan also created "The Pride of Britain Awards," in which high-profile celebrities and royals honor ordinary citizens for doing extraordinary and/or heroic things.


The Judge:SHARON OSBOURNE

Sharon Osbourne returns as a judge on "America's Got Talent," NBC's summer reality competition series, which brings the variety format back to the forefront of American culture.
Sharon Osbourne is not only an acclaimed TV personality -- she has been immensely successful as a manager, mother, author, producer and philanthropist!
Her accomplished career in the music industry has spanned over 30 years. Sharon has managed numerous successful artists' careers, such as Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Electric Light Orchestra, Smashing Pumpkins, Motorhead and Slade. In 1996, Sharon created and produced the biggest and most successful hard rock touring festival in America: Ozzfest. Ozzfest went on to become a prime rock occasion and recently celebrated its 13th year.
Sharon is also credited with creating and producing the first reality celebrity TV show, "The Osbournes," which had an illustrious run on MTV, earning MTV the highest ratings for any of their programs since its conception. In 2002, "The Osbournes" won a Primetime Emmy for Best Reality Show.
Sharon's additional television credits include guest starring on "Will & Grace," NBC's "Days of our Lives" and "Punk'd," among many other American series. In 2007, she wrapped her fourth season with X Factor in the UK.
She's also the author of her autobiography, "Sharon Osbourne Extreme: My Autobiography," which has sold over two million copies in Europe and is the best selling female autobiography to date.
Lastly, haven beaten colon cancer, she started the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation in association with Cedars Sinai Medical Center. The Foundation's mission is to provide free screenings, support and healthcare to those who can't afford it and are afflicted with the disease.



The Judge:DAVID HASSEHOFF

David Hasselhoff returns as a judge on "America's Got Talent," NBC's summer reality competition series, which brings the variety format back to the forefront of American culture.
David Hasselhoff is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as "The Most Watched TV Star in the World" thanks to starring roles in both "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch." Born in Baltimore, MD, he dreamed as a child of having a career on Broadway, but his first professional job came on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless," playing Dr. Snapper Foster.
Six years later he was lured by NBC President Brandon Tartikoff into starring in "Knight Rider" as Michael Knight, leading him to a People's Choice Award for Most Popular Actor. The show is still playing throughout the world. In 1989, he headed the cast of "Baywatch." After being cancelled by NBC, "Baywatch" was acquired by Hasselhoff and the producing partners for syndication, and he became one of the executive producers and TV history was made. "Baywatch" ran for 11 years and is still viewed in 140 countries by over one billion viewers every week.
Along the way, Hasselhoff appeared in several feature films, including "Layover," "Legacy," "Final Alliance," "Fugitive Run," "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story," "The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie" and Adam Sandler's "Click," and his upcoming feature, "Bedtime Stories." TV movies include "Cartier Affair," "Lady by the Lake," "One True Love," "Shaka Zulu," "Nick Fury," "Gridlock," "Avalanche," "Baywatch Hawaiian Wedding," and soon to be seen on the SciFi channel, "Anaconda II."
Guest appearances on TV series include "Just Shoot Me," "Yes, Dear," "3rd Rock From the Sun," "Still Standing" and "West Wing" among others. His remarkable musical career took off in the late 1980s when he recorded the album "Looking For Freedom" at the end of the Cold War. The song became an anthem for the German people and remained at the top of their charts for eight weeks. The album went triple platinum in Europe and Hasselhoff was named "Most Popular and Best-Selling Artist of the Year."
He has since garnered over 40 gold and platinum records worldwide. In 1989, he sang "Looking For Freedom" from atop the Berlin Wall to over one million people during the German reunification celebration. He is currently recording an album with award-winning Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn.

His latest single, "Jump in My Car," which he performed on "America's Got Talent" hit the top of the U.K. charts. The video has been downloaded over six million times and he was recently named one of the most downloaded artists of the year. His concerts have played to standing room-only audiences worldwide.
In 2000, Hasselhoff made his long-awaited theatrical debut in the Broadway musical "Jekyll & Hyde," which was also filmed by Broadway Television Network and aired on HBO, and is available on DVD from Image Entertainment.
He went on to make his West End debut in London as Billy Flynn in the long-running musical "Chicago," as well as recently appearing in the Las Vegas production of Mel Brooks' hit musical, "The Producers." His comic turn as the flamboyant Roger DeBris proved to be an audience favorite.
Hasselhoff's autobiography, "Making Waves," was published by Hodder & Stoughton in the U.K. and was on the bestseller list. A U.S. release titled "Don't Hassel the Hoff" was recently released by Thomas Dunne books, a division of St. Martin's Press. Hasselhoff co-founded the charity Race For Life, and is a frequent visitor to children's hospitals during his travels around the world. He was a key participant in "Camp Baywatch," dedicated to disadvantaged youth in Los Angeles and is also active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Hasselhoff was honored recently with the International Star of the Year Award for Outstanding Contribution to Global Entertainment by the Bollywood Awards. In addition, he was awarded the Comeback Star of the Year on the VH1 Big in '06 Awards.
He resides in Southern California with his two daughters, Taylor-Ann and Hayley.

Simon Cowell is the creator and executive producer of "America's Got Talent," NBC's summer reality competition series, which brings the variety format back to the forefront of American culture.
Cowell has worked in the music industry for 28 years. He started out in the post room at EMI Music Publishing, but after launching his own label at the age of 23, he joined BMG in 1989 and began a professional relationship so far spanning 20 years.
During his time at BMG, Cowell has sold over 150 million records and has had over 70 number one records in America and the U.K. His artists include Westlife -- whose first seven singles all went to the U.K. number one; Opera quartet Il Divo, whose first two albums have collectively sold 20 million copies worldwide; and Leona Lewis, whose album "Spirit" became the biggest selling debut album of all time in 2007 in the U.K., and Lewis became the first U.K. female in over 20 years to debut at number one in the Billboard Hot 100 and 200. Simon Cowell's music label, SYCO Music, has also sold over 50 million "American Idol"-themed albums in the past four years alone, including those of Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken and Carrie Underwood.
Cowell's trademark candor and eye for talent during his last five seasons on "American Idol" has made him a household name both in the United States and in the U.K. on "The X Factor" and "Britain's Got Talent."
Cowell, through his leading U.K.-based media and entertainment company, SYCO, recently became the first producer to simultaneously have the number one program in the U.K. and U.S. as "Britain's Got Talent" and "America's Got Talent" topped the TV charts in the same week in 2007.
