这本第五版重点在光盘上，印刷版反而成了配角。证据如，collocation 的数据，印刷版收录 65,000 笔，光盘上多给了 82,000 笔；Synonym 数据，印刷版收录 18,000 笔，光盘多给 30,000 笔数据。光看这些，就足够把印刷版的使用者全部赶到光盘上了。光盘部分，由原来的两张 CD-ROM 变成一张 DVD-ROM。实质内容的增加，明显可以感受得到。LDOCE5 的 front matter 更直接说明了
以两片光盘容纳辞典内容，除了 OED 之外，就是 LDOCE4v2。现在这一新版更扩而大之，用起 DVD-ROM 来了。如我之前说的，安装后的数据容量，从 1.14GB 扩大到 2.31GB，大约相当四张 CD-ROM 的容量。

说明:7月1日2时首发，因未破解故以版权为由删除，这只为抛砖引玉，现已有补丁所以再发。


破解方法：
用虚拟光驱加载打开原镜像点击setup.exe安装后，将原朗文5安装目录LDOCE5下的ldoce5.exe重命名为ldoce5.exe.bk,再将ldoce5.exe.crack.rar解压得到的ldoce5.exe复制到朗文5安装目录LDOCE5下即可。
(或将补丁ldoce5.exe覆盖原ldoce5.exe也可)

请问：
我按照正确的方式安装后。字典能打开，也能用。就是在Dictionary中有一个Teacher Resources，点击它后，里面的内容是要用PDF打开。我也安装了PDF最新版本的。为什么就是打不开？点击后没有反应？

衷心感谢富有博爱情怀的楼主！谢谢你无私的奉献！
虽然我不是英语专业的，但为了我读小学三年级的儿子着想，我还是迅雷下载了她，8个多小时搞定,真是太令人激动了。
先前我是用第四修订版，可是没有例句的读音，现在一切按楼主说的办就OK！用虚拟光驱DAEMON Tools Lite运行安装3.7G的映像文件,再按提示安装一个 Quicktimet的插件Quickfind 就可以了,在没运行程序前,用破解的ldoce5.exe覆盖安装目录下的ldoce5.exe就完成了!
主啊!我知道什么叫做博大精深了!

朗文(LONGMAN)是美国公司,相信是美式发音.
牛津(Oxford)出版,相信是英式发音.

修正:
在右上角的 Help 中, Dictionary > Information about an entry > Pronunciation of words 里,
红色喇叭可听英式发音;
蓝色喇叭可听美式发音.
i.e. 红英蓝美 ('南美雄鹰',容易记吧!)

l朗文词典不是在安装时候有选择默认语音的对话框吗？可以选美音也可以选英音 在使用中也可以选择

在使用中，怎么设定呀？

对基础英语学习者来说，朗文词典的直接作用大一些。从百科的恢宏翔实角度看，朗文则与大英相差甚远。说朗文5赶超大英百科全书，就不确切了，毕竟两个东西定位截然不同。

1. 根据网友anchan42提供的方法，增加调整鼠标速度立即生效的功能（原来需要重启
Longman5一次才能生效）。
2. 根据网友anchan42提供的方法，增加音节分隔符显示选项、音标显示选项、词义隐
藏选项、修改同义词、反义词显示方式选项立即生效的功能；
3. 增加对dict, culture_dict两个只显示一个词条选项立即生效功能的支持。现在
选择这两个选项之后不需要重启词典，立刻就切换到正确的模式了。
4. 解决新的showWOD方法中index列表单词没有滚动到查询条件框中单词的问题（总是
显示单词A被选中）。
5. 增加了几个热键：Ctrl+M打开Menus；Ctrl+W打开Word Families；Ctrl+O打开Word
Origin；Ctrl+E打开Verb Forms窗口。
6. 完善了一下anchan42网友所说的使用dict_intern_xref.xul的弹出窗口。（可以在
单词Power中选择 →high-powered查看修改的结果）

嗯，试了一下，在mac上可以装。很好的资源，感谢楼主！Linux没有试，但是里面有个说明，应该行。建议这种多系统兼容的软件楼主应该标注一下。

在下载了一天多时间完成后 终于在参照楼主和大家的安装指导下 成功安装了 太兴奋了 单词和例句都可以发音 只要选择完全安装就好了 谢谢楼主还有大家的提醒和帮助啦

我的pop up是可以使用的。在pop up模式下，quickfind是默认开启的

如果你确实不能用，可以试着重装下quickfind看看，安装文件在光盘里就有

我是visa,虚拟光驱装载之后set up 在C盘默认装程序的文件夹里改了补丁。装的是full版
同样的步骤在xp上安装成功了。可是vista装上了点开后都是please insert the LDOCE5 DVD-ROM to access the feathure
请问是需要刻盘吗？请高人指点啊！
