专辑介绍:

Metro Area的至今只发行了一张同名专(2002)和十来张EP,但这并不代表他们未对音乐做出太多贡献.Morgan Geist和Darshan Jesrani两位在Light Club的氛围下制作Atmospheric dance的技术堪称一绝(这亦是Geist的厂牌Environ的基本风格.正当他们忙于09的新专辑时,又为我们献上了这张Fabric 43,包含长达一小时的Smoothed out rhytms混音.

整张混音汇集了80年代的一些陈旧的Disco舞曲,坦白地说,没什么出色的曲子,更没有人们耳熟能详的经典.在他们于Babla’s Disco Sensation “Ghar Aya Mera Pardesi,”中做的自我介绍后,便开始了曲调的流动,氛围的转变.其中vocal的痕迹并不多见. 最终一曲Devo-“Freedom of Choice” 颇值得玩味,节拍明显随之加速,异样中饱含深意.几乎整张专辑都是混音和声乐合成,衔接未见刮痕,总的来说,可以看做是Morgan Geist和Darshan Jesrani风格的general cultural experience.对于Party mix,没有比这更完美的了.-译自网络
