《第九连之恐怖之源》重现了历史上前苏联在阿富汗最后一次大规模战斗行动中的数个精彩战斗。历史上真实的“第九连”，则是隶属于第345近卫空降团 (345th Guards Airborne Regiment)并在1988年1月7日成功抵御了近400名穆贾赫迪民兵以及巴基斯坦雇佣兵的数次攻击，并坚守自己的阵地长达两天。在战斗结束时，第九连共阵亡6人，而生还的28人全部负伤。因在此次行动中的英勇行为，第九连全体官兵获得了前苏联英雄称号以及“金星奖章”。

military campaign in Afghanistan. 9th Company follows the story of a
ragged band of young recruits undergoing brutal training in UzbekistanÆs
Fergana Valley and culminates with a bloody stand against the Mujahideen
warriors on a nameless mountain top in Afghanistan. ItÆs the Battle of
Thermopylae all over again: one Russian fighter against 10 Afghanis!
9th Company recreates in detail the events that took place during the
last large-scale Soviet military operation. Few know the history: the
9th Company of the 345th Guards Airborne Regiment came under heavy fire
on ôHill 3234ö on January 7th, 1988. They managed to stop several
attacks by an estimated 400 Mujahideen and Pakistani mercenaries and
held their position for two gory days. The company lost 6 men, and the
remaining 28 of the total 39 were wounded. Two 9th Company soldiers were
posthumously awarded the Golden Star medal and the title of Soviet Hero.
Warfare on two tactical levels: use the area operations map to choose
your mission or explore 12 unique and highly detailed tactical maps of
Afghanistan.
Stunning 3D graphics and a spectacular physics engine guarantee a one-
of-a-kind experience in destroying any mechanized unit or building.
Merit reward and in-combat morale system for every character and

Install Notes:
1. Unpack the release with WinRAR or equivalent
2. Mount the image with Daemon Tools Pro w/ iDE
3. Install Game
4. Extract the content in Tools dir
5. In windows click Start --> Control Panel --> Add Hardware --> Next
Put mark in " Yes, I have already connected the hardware", then click
next, and croll all the way down the list and select, Add a new
hardware device, then click next, select second option then click next
scroll down and at the bottom select "System devices", then click next
select "Have disk", and browse to where u have extracted the content
of the Tools dir, then select the dev000.inf file and click on Open,
then OK, then click Next and Next again and click Finish button, then
restart PC and ur all set to play this game.

screen ( Blue Screen of Death ), using DT Pro and Yasu wont work either
