《浪漫小提琴协奏曲》系列是Hyperion唱片公司陆陆续续、间断发行的一套小提琴协奏曲唱片集。1999年8月发行了该系列的第一张CD唱片,2009年2月发行了该系列最新的第七张CD唱片。该系列目前主要收录一些非特别特别著名作曲家,如圣桑、斯坦福、胡拜、莫什科夫斯基、卡尔维茨、柯尔瑞基-泰勒、索莫威尔、塔涅耶夫、阿连斯基等,的优秀小提琴协奏曲作品。

Rapidly becoming one of Britain's star conductors, Martyn Brabbins studied at Goldsmiths' College, London University. From 1986 to 1988 he studied with Musin at the Leningrad State Conservatoire and won first prize in the Leeds Conductors Competition in 1988. Since then he has worked with many orchestras and ensembles including the London Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the BBC Scottish Symphony, the City of London Sinfonia, the Ulster Orchestra, the London Sinfonietta, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the English Northern Philharmonia, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Nash Ensemble, the Docklands Sinfonietta, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and the North German Radio Orchestra. He is Associate Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Principal Conductor of Sinfonia 21.
His operatic engagements have included Don Giovanni at the Kirov Opera, The Magic Flute, Albert Herring and Falstaff for English Touring Opera, Der Ferne Klang for Opera North, Il Seraglio for Scottish Opera-go-round and Bliss's The Olympians and Tchaikovsky's Christmas Slippers for Chelsea Opera Group.
Future engagements include The Magic Flute for English National Opera and concerts with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic, the CBSO, the Bournemouth Sinfonietta, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the London Sinfonietta, the Nash Ensemble, Sinfonia 21 and BBC Promenade concerts.

Ilan Volkov succeeded Osmo V?nsk? as Chief Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in January 2003, having first conducted the orchestra in 1998. His interpretations of the Classical and Romantic repertoire have been praised for their lucidity of texture and structure, rhythmic vitality and depth of insight. He is also a passionate advocate of contemporary composers, and plays an important role in the orchestra’s continuing commitment to new music. Volkov has taken the BBCSSO on highly successful tours of Spain, South America and the Baltics.
In addition to conducting more than twenty-five concerts each season with the BBCSSO, and taking the orchestra to important UK festivals, Ilan Volkov makes frequent guest appearances with other orchestras throughout the world. Volkov is an especially sensitive concerto partner, and has worked with such distinguished soloists as Daniel Barenboim, Mstislav Rostropovich, Emmanuel Ax, Viktoria Mullova, Heinrich Schiff, Thomas Zehetmair, Christian Tetzlaff and Stephen Kovacevich, as well as the cream of the young generation of soloists, including Lawrence Power. In the opera house he has conducted Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin for San Francisco Opera (2004) and in the summer of 2006 he conducted Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Glyndebourne Festival Opera with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, having already appeared with Glyndebourne Touring Opera.
Born in Israel in 1976, Volkov was appointed Young Conductor in Association to the Newcastle-based Northern Sinfonia at the age of nineteen. In 1997 he became Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and two years later was invited by Seiji Ozawa to join the Boston Symphony Orchestra as Assistant Conductor. When appointed Chief Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra he became the youngest person to hold such a position with a BBC orchestra.
Ilan Volkov is also one of the guiding forces behind Levontin 7, a performance venue in Tel Aviv that brings together differing musical genres including classical, jazz, electronic and rock. Opened in July 2006, it is described by Volkov as ‘a way to influence cultural life in Israel in a way that is more subtly apparent than conducting, and more practical than merely giving a concert once every few years’.

不知道你是不是在回避我的问题。既然你反问了,那我就先说了。 我的“标准”很简单,这首曲子拿第一乐章来说,两个对立的主题都很优美,我特别喜欢抒情哀婉的第二主题;第二乐章浪漫,第三乐章跳跃活泼。 个人主观认为,在旋律上,Karlowicz不输给Mendelssohn。 三个乐章的速度安排(快慢快)和门德尔松一样,每个乐章的情绪也相似。 结构严谨,两首曲子配器也差不多。 所以我认为这两首协奏曲是可以相提并论的。 当然,你可以说Karlowicz有模仿之嫌,但这不代表它不是好音乐。 如果有不如的地方,那就是Karlowciz知名度不如门德尔松,且年代晚于门德尔松,门毕竟是浪漫主义奠基人之一,Karlowciz是小字辈。 容我枉自猜测,如果他没有30岁出头死于非命,有希望能成为肖邦之后第二个重要的波兰作曲家。 我觉得,这首协奏曲应该返回音乐厅,像门和布一样频繁上演。

”主题优美“的,“结构严谨”的,“配器差不多”的小协,几大箩筐,海了去了。远的不说,近在眼前的,lz资源里的小协几乎都可以入选,难道要大家一团和气,都是神作,都是牛作,你好我也好,大家好才是真的好,全民一起来媲美,并列第一名?
你我两人相互陈述主观感受基本没啥意义,我就说点其他的吧
门德尔松第二小协绝对是小协中的神作,不是随便哪个作品说媲美就能媲美的,约阿希姆曾说,德国人有四部小协——贝多芬、勃拉姆斯、布鲁赫、门德尔松,对门小协他的评价是:最亲切的,心灵的珍宝
这和名气大不大关系不大,莫扎特,德奥的,同样30多岁死掉,也沒妨碍他成为古典乐史上的超级大腕,一辈子写了一堆小协,但一部都沒被约阿希姆看上眼。约阿希姆啊!多牛逼的小提琴大师啊!我觉得足够说明门小协的神作地位了吧。另外贝多芬在古典主义的尾巴上,没有”XX主义奠基人“的头衔,估计还是个”掘墓人“,这也沒妨碍其小协被约阿希姆誉为最伟大的小协(没有之一)
音乐上的传世神作,有两种极端情况,一种是在作曲技巧上完美臻化境,教科书,无懈可击,这类作品不必要是为大多数人觉得优美动听的,很多在非专业地耳朵听来甚至都是晦涩无趣味的,这类作品的代表首当其冲地就是巴赫的赋格的艺术
第二种就是太美了,太绝了,太动听了,这类作品的作是不必要有多大名气的,比如平安夜,你问10个人,估计9.9个都不会知道作者是弗兰兹格鲁伯,但是随便都会知道这首传世名曲的旋律
