部分电脑没声音等问题官方解决办法
*********************RESOLVING SOUND RELATED SYSTEM CRASH *********************

If your version of Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife is randomly crashing with an Unknown Error the problem may be a sound driver issue on your computer.

If the details of the error specify dsound.dll then is is definitely a sound driver issue.

Here is the procedure for overcoming this problem (these are for Windows XP):

1. Click Start, Run.

2. Type DxDiag and click OK.

3. If you are prompted to verify drivers, it is up to you whether you want to do this or not, though it isn't a bad idea.

4. Click the Sound tab.

5. Move the Hardware Sound Acceleration Level slider to the left so that it says No Acceleration.

6. Try running the game. It should now run with no problems.

You may be able to use some hardward acceleration, but you will have to test the different setting on your computer to see. Basically, this means going back to DxDiag and moving the slider up a notch each time and then seeing if the game still runs wihout error.

v1.1版：优化了游戏启动速度....
注意：游戏必须安装在....纯英文路径！！
正式版没什么问题，只是在个别电脑或系统上有如崩溃无声音等Issue。官方的解决办法和链接已经发布在上面。
为了大部分玩家更好的体验游戏（没问题的就不用下载了），这里放出1.1版本下载。记住游戏放在英文目录下！！！！

RETAIL NOTE:

Many people have had a bug in game that prevented them from
playing in v1.0 of this game. This was related to recieving the
message: "Move the disc closer to Panashi" no matter where you
placed the sun disc. MumboJumbo has resolved this issue with
this update, for the retail game. We have patched the installer
to allow people without the game to install and play the game.
This is a full install of v1.1, as well, no crack is needed after
installation as its retail version.

Our previous release of v1.0 from Alawar games is compatible with
this version. Its up to you if you want to uninstall v1.0. Both
can be installed at the sametime and both use the same
settings/saved games folder so if you do uninstall, your game
will still be saved and playable with v1.1.
