All covred with snow
I lost my trun lover
For courtin' too show

For courtin's a pleasure
And parting is grief
And a false-hearted lover
Is worse than a thief

And take all your pay
But a false-hearted lover
Will lead you astray

On Top of Old Smoky
All covred with snow
I lost my trun lover
For courtin' too show

4.Sailing Medley--(2:45)**********************************
Blow the Man Down
I'll Sing you a song,a good song of the sea
With a way! Hey! Blow the man down!
And trust that you'll join in the chorus with me
Give me some time to blow the man down
There was an old skipper;
I don't know his name
With a way! Hey! Blow the man down!
Although he once played a remarkable game
Give me some time to blow the man down
His ship lay becalmed in the tropical seas
With a way! Hey! Blow the man down!
He whistled all day,but in vain, for a breeze
Give me some time to blow the man down

There's where my heart is turning ever
There's where the old folks stay

All up and down the whole creation, sadly I roam
Still longing for the old plantation
And for the old folks at home

All the world is sad and dreary, everywhere I roam
Oh,Lordy, how my heart grows weary, far from the old folks at home

One little hut among the bushes, one that I love
Still sadly to my memory rushes,no matter where I rove

When will I see the bees a-hummin'all round the comb?
When will I hear the banjo strummin'down in my good old home?

All the world is sad and dreary, everywhere I roam
Oh,Lordy, how my heart grows weary, far from the old folks at home

16.Western Medley--(1:35)******************************
The Yellow Rose Of Texas
There's a yellow rose in Texas
I'm going back to see
No other fellow loves her as half as much as me
She cried so when I left her
It almost broke my heart
And if we ever meet again
We never more shall part

She's the sweetest little rosebud
That Texas ever knew
Her eyes are bright as diamonds
They sparkle like the dew
You can talk about your Clementine and dream of Rosalie
But the Yellow Rose Of Texas is the only girl for me

Buffalo Gals
CHORUS
Buffalo gals, won't you come out tonight
Come out tonight,come out tonight
Buffalo gals, won't you come out tonight
And dance by the light of the moon

Down the street,down the street
A pretty little gal I chanced to meet
Oh,she was sweet to me!

I'd make her happy all her life
If she would marry me!

7.Grandfather's Clock (3:22)
My grandfather's clock was too large for the shelf
So it stood ninety years on the floor
Ir was taller by half than the old man himself
Though it weighed not a pennyweight more
It was bought on the morn of the day that he was born
And was always hid treasure and pride

But it stopped short
Never to go again
When the old man died
In watching its pendulum swing to and fro
Many hours had he spent while a boy
And in childhood and manhood the clock seemed to know
And to share both his grief and his joy
For it struck twenty-four when he entered at the door
With a blooming and beautiful bride

But it stopped short
Never to go again
When the old man died

Ninety years without slumbering (tick,tock,tick,tock)
His life seconds numbering (tick,tock,tick,tock)

It stopped short
Never to go again
When the old man died

My grandfather said that old those he could hire
Not a servant so faithful he found
For it wasted no time and had but one desire
At the close of each week-to be wound
And it kept in its place, not a frown upon its face
And its hands never hung by its side

But it stopped short
Never to go again
When the old man died

It rang an alarm in the dead of the night
An alarm that for years had been dumb
And we knew that his spirit was pluming for flight
That his hour of departure had come
Still the clock kept the time with a soft and muffled chime
As we silently stood by his side

But it stopped short
Never to go again
When the old man died

Ninety years without slumbering (tick,tock,tick,tock)
His life seconds numbering (tick,tock,tick,tock)

It stopped short
Never to go again
When the old man died

The sheep's in the meadow and the cow's in the com
Now where is that boy that watches the sheep?
He,s out pickin'flowers with Little Bo Peep!

To Grandmother's house we go
The horse know the way to carry the sleigh
Through white and drifted snow

It stings the toes and bites the nose
As over the ground we go

REPEAT

And through the barnyard gate

TV sets are funny
I think there's something wrong

But it's easy to tum 'em on

CHORUS

If they made things like they should
Everything I tried would tum out good
well, bathtubs have a bottom but they don't have a lid

It was the finest one that I could see
I saved it all except a bite or two

I wanted to be helpful with a chore
I put them all away except a few
Just for you

Someday I'll be grown up too
And if I can I'll grow up just like you
I ate up all my lunch just like you said
And so I left the crust when I was through
Just for you

Someday I'll be grown up too
If I can I'll grow up just like you
Just one more thing before I go to bed
And everything I have to say is said
There's something special that I want to do
Here's a kiss just for you

3.Do your Ears Hang Low? (1:01)
Do your ears hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie em in a knot?
Can you tie em in a bow?
Can you throw 'em o'er your shoulder
Like a continental soldier?
Do your ears hang low?

Can your ears stand high?
Can they stand up in the sky?
Can they stand up if they're wet?
Can they stand up if they're dry?
Can you wave them to your neighbor
With a minimum of labor?
Can your ears stand high?

5.The Wabash Cannonball (2:37)
From the great Atlantic Ocean
To the wide pacific shore
From the queen of flowing mountains
To the southland by the shore
She's a-mighty tall and handsome
And known quite well by all
She's the mighty engine of
The Wabash Cannonball

Great cities of importance
We see along the way
Chicago and St.Louis
Rock lsland,so they say
Springfield and Decatur
Peoria above all
You can reach your destination
On the Wabash Cannonball

This train,she runs to Quincy
Monroe and Mexico
She runs to Kansas City
And she's never running slow
She runs right into Denver
Where she makes an awful squall
They all know by the whistle
She's the Wabash Cannonball

There's many other cities
That you can go and see
St.Paul and Minneapolis
Ashtabula,Kankakee
The lakes of Minnehaha
Where the laughing waters fall
You'll reach them by no other
But the Wabash Cannonball

So,listen to the jingle
The rumble and the roar
As she glides along the woodland
Through the hills and by the shore
Here the mighty rush of the engine
Here that lonesome hobo call
You're traveling through the jungles on
The Wabash Cannonball
You're traveling through the jungles on
The Wabash Cannonball

8.Big Rock Candy Mountain (1:19)
On a summer day in the month of may
A burly bum came hiking
Down a shady lane through the sugar cane

As he roamed along,he sang a song
Of the land of milk and honey
Where a bum can stay for many a day
And he won't need and money

CHORUS
Oh,the buzzin' of the bees in the cool shade trees
Near the crystal water fountain
At the lemonade springs
Where the bluebird sings
On the big rock candy mountain

Oh,a farmer and his son, they were on the run
To the hayfield they were bounding
Said the bum to the son,"Why don't you come
To that big rock candy mountain?"

The mileposts they kept counting
But they never arrived at the lemonade tide
On the big rock candy mountain

Full soon is gone, full soon is gone
For mirth was made for joyous lads and lasses

25.The Marvelous Toy (1:59)
When I was just a wee little lad
Full of health and joy
My father homeward came one night
And gave to me a toy

A wonder to behold it was
With many colors bright
And the moment laid eyes on it
It became my heart's delight

CHORUS
It went "zip" when it moved
"Bop" when it stopped
"Whirr" when it stood still
I never knew just what it was
And I guess I never will

The first time that I picked it up
I had a big surprise
For right on its bottom
Were two big buttons
That looked like big green eyes

I first pushed one and then the other
And then I twisted its lid
And when I set it down again
Here is what it did

CHORUS

Well, the years have gone too quickly it seems
And I have my own little boy
And yesterday I gave to him
My marvelous little toy
His eyes nearly popped right out of his head
And he gave a squeal of glee
Neither one of us knows just what it is
But he loves it just like me

"Bop" when it stops

3.Do your Ears Hang Low? (1:01)
Do your ears hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie em in a knot?
Can you tie em in a bow?
Can you throw 'em o'er your shoulder
Like a continental soldier?
Do your ears hang low?

Can your ears stand high?
Can they stand up in the sky?
Can they stand up if they're wet?
Can they stand up if they're dry?
Can you wave them to your neighbor
With a minimum of labor?
Can your ears stand high?

5.The Wabash Cannonball (2:37)
From the great Atlantic Ocean
To the wide pacific shore
From the queen of flowing mountains
To the southland by the shore
She's a-mighty tall and handsome
And known quite well by all
She's the mighty engine of
The Wabash Cannonball

Great cities of importance
We see along the way
Chicago and St.Louis
Rock lsland,so they say
Springfield and Decatur
Peoria above all
You can reach your destination
On the Wabash Cannonball

This train,she runs to Quincy
Monroe and Mexico
She runs to Kansas City
And she's never running slow
She runs right into Denver
Where she makes an awful squall
They all know by the whistle
She's the Wabash Cannonball

There's many other cities
That you can go and see
St.Paul and Minneapolis
Ashtabula,Kankakee
The lakes of Minnehaha
Where the laughing waters fall
You'll reach them by no other
But the Wabash Cannonball

So,listen to the jingle
The rumble and the roar
As she glides along the woodland
Through the hills and by the shore
Here the mighty rush of the engine
Here that lonesome hobo call
You're traveling through the jungles on
The Wabash Cannonball
You're traveling through the jungles on
The Wabash Cannonball

8.Big Rock Candy Mountain (1:19)
On a summer day in the month of may
A burly bum came hiking
Down a shady lane through the sugar cane
He was looking for his liking
As he roamed along,he sang a song
Of the land of milk and honey
Where a bum can stay for many a day
And he won't need and money

CHORUS
Oh,the buzzin' of the bees in the cool shade trees
Near the crystal water fountain
At the lemonade springs
Where the bluebird sings
On the big rock candy mountain

Oh,a farmer and his son, they were on the run
To the hayfield they were bounding
Said the bum to the son,"Why don't you come
To that big rock candy mountain?"
So the very next day they hiked away
The mileposts they kept counting
But they never arrived at the lemonade tide
On the big rock candy mountain

CHORUS

You'll never know,dear,how much I love you

You have shattered all my dreams

CHORUS

11.Funiculi,Funicula (1:37)
Some think the world is made for fun and frolic
And so do I,and so do I
Some think it well to be all melancholic
To pine and sing,to pine and sigh
But I,I love to spend my time in singing
Some joyous song,some joyous song
To set the air with music bravely ringing
Is far from wrong; it's far from wrong

CHORUS
Listen,listen,music sounds afar
Listen,listen,echoes sounds afar
Funiculi,Funicula,Funiculi,Funicula
Joy is everywhere
Funiculi,Funicula

Ah, me! 'Tis strange that some should take to sighing
And like it well; they like it well
For me,I have not thought it worth the trying
So cannot tell; I cannot tell
With laugh, with dance and song, the day soon passes
Full soon is gone, full soon is gone
For mirth was made for joyous lads and lasses
To call their own,to call their own

REPEAT

25.The Marvelous Toy (1:59)
When I was just a wee little lad
Full of health and joy
My father homeward came one night
And gave to me a toy

A wonder to behold it was
With many colors bright
And the moment laid eyes on it
It became my heart's delight

CHORUS
It went "zip" when it moved
"Bop" when it stopped
"Whirr" when it stood still
I never knew just what it was
And I guess I never will

The first time that I picked it up
I had a big surprise
For right on its bottom
Were two big buttons
That looked like big green eyes

I first pushed one and then the other
And then I twisted its lid
And when I set it down again
Here is what it did

CHORUS

Well, the years have gone too quickly it seems
And I have my own little boy
And yesterday I gave to him
My marvelous little toy
His eyes nearly popped right out of his head
And he gave a squeal of glee
Neither one of us knows just what it is
But he loves it just like me

FINAL CHOURS
It still goes "Zip" when it moves
"Bop" when it stops
"Whirr" when it stands still
I never knew just what it was
And I guess I never will

26.Go In and Out the Window (1:01)
Go in and out the window
Go in and out the window
Go in and out the window
As fast as you can go

Find in the house your partner
Find in the house your partner
Find in the house your partner
And bow before you go

REPEAT FIRST VERSE

27.Mickey Mouse March (Dodd) (1:05)
Mickey Mouse Club!
Mickey Mouse Club!
Who's the leader of the clup
That's made for you and me?

CHOURS
M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!
Mickey Mouse (Mickey Mouse!)
Mickey Mouse (Mickey Mouse!)
Forever let us hold our banner high!
High!High!High!

Allow your kids sufficient exposure to languages in forms of songs or peotry recitation, and they will naturally acquire the essence of the targeted language.

    小贴士:
