这是LUNA SEA加盟MCA后于1993年发行的第二张专辑，是乐团在探索进化中的作品。高速激烈的旋律还隐约有着indies的味道，但是RYUICHI逐渐细腻凄美的声音、绮丽感人的歌词都说明LUNA SEA已经开始更加追求自己的独特音乐美学。特别推荐“RECALL”，大气而华美，展示出荒凉与孤独的世界。
LUNA SEA这个团最早是由J和INORAN所组成的名叫LUNACY的团，SUGIZO和SHINYA则属另一个团，之后由他们的共同的好友RYUICHI在一个俱乐部介绍彼此认识，于是大家兴起了玩团的念头，LUNA SEA就成了这个新团的名字。
1989年以视觉系炫目造型攫取众人目光，起初以团员家乡东京为巡回演唱的根据地；1990年在名古屋作首次正式的演唱，同年11月在东京市MEGURO LIVE STATION的爆满演唱会更揭开他们演唱会经常在开始发售不到一小时就抢购一空的盛况；1991年LUNA SEA在知名乐团X-JAPAN成员YOSHIKI创立的独立厂牌ECSTASY发表同名专辑《LUNA SEA》，专辑更登上独立榜冠军；1992年LUNA SEA加盟UNIVERSAL VICTOR，以无畏的实验色彩专辑《Image》突破重围在ORICON专辑榜奠下第9名成绩；1993年《Eden》从视觉导向往更深沉的音乐本质迈进；1994年亚军专辑《Mother》象征一件集视感音感情感的艺术品诞生；1996~1998年连续3年3张冠军大碟《Style》、《Singles》、《Shine》问世，曲风更加成熟和多元化，更为日剧《神啊！请再给我一点时间吧》创作了主题曲“I for you”，随着此剧在全亚洲的热播LUNA SEA得到了更高的人气；1999年推出了超具收藏价值的双CD现场LIVE精选辑《Never Sold Out》；到2000年被主唱河村隆一形容为“完成度最高”的季军天碟《LUNACY》说明乐团正在超越自己，再从新的起点期盼更高，5个人的火焰已热炽到巅峰的顶点！
可惜在最后几年间团员们各自的活动（演戏、组团、为其它歌手制作专辑）使个人色彩的存在并超越了乐团的临界点，最后竟走到“不赶快发挥自己的特色就糟糕了”的阶段。终于在2000年12月23日圣诞前夕发行了给所有乐迷的最后献礼《PERIOD ～THE BEST SELECTION～》。
Luna Sea (ルナシー) is a pillar of Japanese rock music and one of the most influential early visual kei bands. Even though the group is no longer together, their impact is still felt and their music still highly respected. Luna Sea's members are Ryuichi (vocals), Sugizo (lead guitar, violin), Inoran (rhythm guitar), J (bass), and Shinya (drums).
The group was founded by Inoran and J while they were high school and was called Lunacy. Eventually, Sugizo and Shinya were recruited from a rival band, Ryuichi joined, and the group changed its name to Luna Sea. They played as an indies visual band until they were spotted by hide of X Japan and signed to X Japan's independent record label, Extasy Records. They went major in 1992 with their next album, Image. They took a year long break in 1997 to concentrate on solo projects, then returned to release two more albums before finally disbanding in 2000.
Luna Sea's style and music definitely changed as their career progressed. In their early days they were enthusiastic participants in the early nineties visual kei scene. Most of the band members had long hair, wore makeup and flowing gothic outfits in photo shoots, contributing to a very dreamlike, vampiric image. They toned down the visual look as the years went by until by 2000 they were totally mainstream, Ryuichi especially often having a polished, suit-wearing look. The member who held onto the visual look the longest was Sugizo, often described as narcissistic, dying his hair and being the most flamboyant in photo-shoots and on stage.
As for the music, although they moved towards a less dark and moody style after the release of their 1998 album Shine, the band has a definite signature sound. The thing that is most easily noticeable is Ryuichi's distinctive singing voice, high and sometimes bordering on a little too nasal. He may take some getting used to, but he doesn't lack for skill and his vocals have compelling intensity. Also, the generous use of guitar, especially prominent solos and Sugizo's high, echoing guitar soaring out over the band is a dead giveaway. The bass is less flashy and it usually has a heavy, driving feel on most of the songs. However, when J busts out with a bass solo, it's always insanely catchy and complex.
When it comes to writing credits, it's hard to tell who does what. One most of their albums, they don't list who wrote what song. It's all "Music and Lyrics by Luna Sea." However, the band all shares in the writing. Artists they have collaborated with are Shiver, a visual kei band lost to the mists of time (as far as I know), who they did a song with on Eden and DJ Krush on Lunacy.
Even though Luna Sea was a visionary band and a mainstay of Japanese rock, in 2000 they realized that they had done all they could do together as Luna Sea, so the band split and they all went their separate ways.

所有的大碟,这张是最好听的,地下和流行的感觉结合得非常好.
INO作曲的LASTLY和RECALL绝对棒!
