　　美国Showtime电视台于2004年1月18日推出一部女同志电视剧集《The L Word》，由Showtime与米高梅公司联合制作的这部影集，描述的是生活在洛杉矶的一群女同志。Showtime在2000年制播了首部以男同志生活为主题的《Queer as Folk》，在英美同志圈广受欢迎。
　　《The L Word》的演员阵容包括Jennifer Beals（闪舞）、Laurel Holloman(双姝奇恋)、Mia Kirshner(黑色姊妹帮)、Karina Lombard(骇客杀阵)以及Eric Mabius(鸦魔战士)。去年九月刚与摇滚乐手玛丽莎伊瑟莉姬结婚的谭米琳麦可也将在剧中客串演出。
　　《The L Word》作为影史上第一部女同志剧集，由大学毕业生Jenny (Mia Kirshner饰)搬到洛杉矶揭开序幕，立志从事小说写作的Jenny和男友Tim(Eric Mabius饰)相偕至洛城准备展开“成人生活”，他们和一对女同志Bette (Jennifer Beals饰)和Tina(Laurel Holloman饰)成为邻居。珍妮一次受邀参加Bette和Tina的家庭派对时，被一位迷人的女子(Karina Lombard饰)煞到，从此生活出现翻天覆地的变化。

'The L Word' is billed as the intimate story about the lives and loves of a group of lesbian friends living in Los Angeles. Mostly centering on Jenny (Mia Kirshner), a recent graduate of the University of Chicago, who moves to Los Angeles to live with her boyfriend Tim (Eric Mabius) and begin a professional writing career. Jenny's life is turned upside down when she attends a party hosted by Tim's next-door neighbors, Bette (Jennifer Beals) and Tina (Laurel Hollomon), a lesbian couple who are looking to take the step into parenthood after seven years of dating. A brief encounter at the party with Marina (Karina Lombard), the owner of The Planet, the local coffeehouse that the ladies gather on a daily basis, suddenly has Jenny thrust into the local lesbian community and a whole new world she never understood until she questions her own sexual orientation. Other friends of Bette and Tina include Dana (Erin Daniels), a rising tennis player looking for love despites having no dating experience; Alice (Leisha Hailey), a magazine writer whom just wants to find the woman of her dreams; Shane (Katherine Moenning) is a sexually aggressive slacker/hairstylist whom seeks out her own girl just for her own pleasures.

从第一季的第一集到现在，the L world从来都没让我失望过。商业和艺术的结合，是showtime当之无愧的精品！11集震撼！矛盾集中，讽刺性强，充满张力！叹

观后感:
1. 小Shane同学搞来搞去终于把自己人给伤了...
2. Jodi告诉我们, 报复一个抛弃自己的人的极端办法莫过于让她在众目睽睽之下丢尽脸面, 而且还是在她极度赞美自己之后...
3. Helena事迹让我坚定了一定赚很多钱变富婆的想法...
4. 从L1开始, 小Shane有事的时候--- 找Alice; Alice有事的时候-- 找小Shane, 可是小Shane老是说"Jenny是我最好的朋友"...
5. Jenny一直觉得她怪怪的, 可是从开始到现在, 她一直都是最可怜的一个, 好不容易碰上Niki, 可是...
6. Adele是个bitch...
7. T.B终于在众人的呼声中复合了 smile.gif

I just watched throught the episodes in season 5. I was not against Shane before episode 12 in S5, but now I really have strong sympathy on her. What Shane's role remind me two points I believe always. One is the one who doesn't know how to love herself definitely doesn't know how to keep a relationship. The 2nd is that the importance of selecting your friends. Having Shane's kind of friend in one's life is dangeous sometimes. When she told Alice to find happiness, she is the one who can never find responsibility in her own life. Keeping a relationship is not an easy job; and definitely, happiness won't glue two persons together forever; the rest should let your integrity do for you. I really hope every one tresure what you have and what you are working on. Life isn't that easy, and so don't give up easily. Good lucky!

Last message, I didn't have time to recap all. Here we go! To share my thoughts with you.
Season 5 may not be the best season, but I think it's logical and smart. It's not like Friends, Sex and City, and other American series which I don't learn anything from them. Even though The L world is about Lesbians, the director is really intelligent to send us messages. I really like the couple, Bette and Tina. They are my motivation to keep watching the show. They really belong to each other. No one else can understand each other better than themselves. When they really feel that, they didn't go rush to public their relationship because they didn't wanne hurt Jodi and they really don't wanne screw up again. This time, they are cautious and sensitive. I don't think in the coming season they will break up again. No one can separate them again. Jodi, she treats sex as the most important element in the relationship. I think that's the core value different from Bette. It was no surprise when she showed Bette's video in her work show. It is her, her personality. Bette should've broke up with her much early. Sometimes, to be too protective may make thing worse. My No.3 cast is Jenny. She was a little bit ugly at the beginning for her movie, but later on, she worked hard on her movie and won me back again. When she found her love Niki, I was so happy for her. She was unlucky all the time after she changed from straight to lesbian. She needs love to recover her pains. However, she is not mature yet, after Niki rejected her to leave the studio, she was sad and said Niki was dead to her. In this critical moment, Shane gave her an extreme negative opinion which made Jenny even more sad. If the freind with Jenny at that moment were Tina instead of Shane, Jenny might keep the relationship with Niki. Shane has nothing to lose, no career, no money, and no plan. That's why she left with Jenny. However, like Tina said, Niki couldn't. She would have so much to lose, her career and her future. Niki did right thing to stay I think. Also, Jenny should've understood that. Again, it proved my previous point of the importance of selecting friends. About Shane, I don't wanne spend much on her. Really disappointed to her. When she has sex with other girls, I feel it gross. Kit is not smart, but nice person to be around. Alice has a big mouth. Helena is still growing. When she bought back Planet and purchased Shebar for Kit, I do feel again the power of $$$.
Looking forward to seeing Season 6 next year.

It is a special show so far. I don't think any other series can compare to this one. It's a piece of work. It flawlessly comblines of arts, life, and marketing effects. At the beginning, I was attracted by beautiful actresses; then, i found the L in the title means. It first symbolises Love. The show is just unique!
