Dekapitator是由美国著名的Gore Metal乐队Exhumed的成员所组成的一直Thrash Metal团。其实乐队早在1999年就发行过一张专辑。这张The Storm Before The Calm是他们的最新作品。其最大特点就是音色浑重，下切凶悍。试想一下用碾核的音色来切出工整的Thrash Riff，肯定会让你大呼过瘾。不足之处是相对于纯粹的Thrash乐队，他们的东西还略显僵硬，不过这丝毫掩盖不了整张专辑的精彩程度。非常值得一听。
