Nicholas Hooper以多彩的交响乐闻名。2004年他凭借The Young Visiters获得了英国电影和电视艺术学院奖（BAFTA Awards）的最佳配乐，同时他的State of Play也有被提名。今年再度以Prime Suspect: The Final Act获得 BAFTA Awards最佳配乐。

这真是哈利波特原声大碟中最短的一次，而且顺序重排了，开头的Fireworks太拽了，交响乐团和电吉他配！还有一些片段（The Kiss）让人不禁想起Philip Glass的影子，总体还不错，只是和JW原来的风格是越来越远了
