这套CD收录了DB从1968年到2000年在BBC广播公司的现场表演录音。由于年代的关系，BBC早已遗失了当年的录音资料，因此这其中的歌曲都是DB亲自挑选和提供。

最初发行的是双CD版本，即《The Best Of The BBC Radio Sessions 68-72》。两天以后发行了这套CD的珍藏版，多了一张DB于00年6月在BBC的现场录音。有趣的是这张Bonus Disc的现场曲目都是粉丝投票选出的（聪明~~~~多么成功的商业炒作~~~）。据说这套Limited Edition已告绝版。。。。

另外，这张Bowie At The Beeb专辑的封面仍是由Guy Peellaert负责设计。（就是设计《Diamond Dogs》封面的那位老兄）
