Röyksopp字面的意思是蘑菇云，但同时也指作一种在挪威森林里常见的真菌，灰灰绿绿的几厘米高，只要以手指轻弹，一缕烟便会从菌伞绽放。就像这队由Svein Berge 和 Torbjorn Brundtland结合的二人组开端，零一年十月的首作《Melody A.M》推出后便平地一声雷，结果全球卖过百万，像一点温暖的光芒从极北极寒的小城Tromsø里爆开，风格带着微暖、跳脱，好评如潮。

"Prior of listening to this "Back To Mine" mix, I'd have never had Royksopp down as top-notch party DJs. [...] You see, whatever your preconceptions about Royksopp, this mix will shatter them - and then some. They display an otherwise unknown love for camp Disco, quirky early '80s dancefloor oddities, Hi-NRG silliness, classic electro, proto-techno and bizarre eurodisco, finishing with the slow burning, hands-aloft throb of The New Birth's soul classic "It's Been A Long Time".
