【剧情简介】
Doug Kinney, a working man who can't meet all his professional and family responsibilities, has himself cloned with the help of geneticist Dr. Owen Leeds. It works so well having one copy of him to take charge of matters at the office that he makes another copy who takes care of the home front. Pretty soon, different aspects of his personality are emphasized in the different clones: the laborer becomes a macho creep and the domestic god becomes downright feminine. A third clone, struck from the duplicates instead of the original, becomes like a photocopy of a photocopy: inferior.

想过复制自己吗？道格终日为事业奔波忙碌，无暇享受生活的情趣。一日，太太突然兴起重返社会工作的念头，道格唯有百上加斤，帮太太分担日常家头细务，照顾子女。就在这昏头昏脑的生活中，道格遇上了大救星欧文。多年来一直研究基因克隆的遗传学家欧文表示愿帮道格克隆自己以解决无法分身的烦恼。道格复制了两个自己：二号主外，三号主内。两个克隆人的性格截然不同，以致造成两人无法快乐相处。为了多一个玩伴，他们偷偷求救于欧文以二号为原型复制出四号。二号和三号的存在为道格减少不少压力，四号的出现同时亦为他平添许多笑话。直到有一天，道格发现自己逐渐表现得无所事事，而他的婚姻也出现了前所未有的危机……
