昨秋に充電期間を設けてリフレッシュした平井堅の９ヶ月ぶりの新曲。その間にあらためて足元を見つめ身軽になって原点に舞い戻ったことを伺わせるスタンダード性のひときわ高いバラード作品。この曲が秘めている圧倒的な訴求力は、メロディの流麗さや、大切な人を失くした悲しみを?#092;り越え強く生きようとする詞の純粋さもさることながら、彼の深みを増した表現力（＝ボーカル力）のせいだろう。c/w にはキリンラガービールCMテーマ「DESPERADO 」を収録。熟した男の歌はセクシーに響く。

After a nine-month hiatus to soothe the spirit, Ken Hirai has returned—unburdened and firm of foot—to his roots to give us another breathtaking ballad.
