正如专辑标题，这是最幻想9植松伸夫精选，收录大量有关人物Theme的曲目，例如Vivi's Theme，Steiner's Theme ，Zidane's Theme，Cid's Theme，Quina's Theme，Freya's Theme，Tantalus's Theme.，Garnet's Theme. ， Eiko's Theme，Amarant's Theme一共十首。2楼回复有人物简介，对人物有一定的了解才能更好地欣赏人物Theme。当然，相当受欢迎的A Place To Call Home和Melodies Of Life等都收录了，然而，除了第31首Melodies of Life ~Final Fantasy和第33首FU-RU-SA-TO (Homeland)，说真的，所有在《最幻想9原声大碟》都可以找到。还有就是，《最终幻想9植松伸夫精选》里有12首是《最幻想9原声大碟》里面的相对应的删减版，《最终幻想9植松伸夫精选》的第31首Melodies of Life ~Final Fantasy.(7:36)与《最幻想9原声大碟》的第22 首Melodies of Life ~ Final Fantasy.(7：35) 虽然同名，长度相近，但是内容不同，前者是Melodies of Life（英文版）+交响曲，后者是Melodies of Life（日文版）+交响曲。下面列出《最终幻想9植松伸夫精选》与《最幻想9原声大碟》比较的有所删减的曲目：
