跟自己的偶像女歌手马蒂纳·麦克布莱德（Martina McBride）一样，Carrie Underwood也有着高亢有力的好嗓子，六月份发行的单曲《Inside Your Heaven》便一举获得Billboard单曲榜的冠军。Carrie Underwood在参加今年的美国偶像比赛的时候共演唱过Martina McBride，Rascal Flatts，菲斯·希尔（Faith Hill）和南方小鸡（the Dixie Chicks）等艺人的歌曲，而《Some Hearts》专辑中歌曲的风格跟她在比赛中所演唱的大致相同，是她最为喜爱和擅长的流行乡村音乐。另外，Carrie Underwood参与创作了专辑中的歌曲《I Ain't in Checotah Anymore》和《Before He Cheats》。本专辑中的主打单曲《Jesus Take the Wheel》在上榜两周之后，目前已近进入Billboard单曲榜前25位。Carrie Underwood在美国乡村音乐协会奖颁奖礼上演唱的正是这首歌曲。

If the young performer oversings on occasion (the overwrought bonus track, "Inside Your Heaven"), and settles for too many generic themes, she still surprises in her ability to go head-to-head with country’s reigning females. 第一次听CARRIE的歌，竟然是之苹果的ITUNE试听她的WASTED，真是帅呆啦。感觉美国人写的歌不仅仅是旋律优美，就是歌词也写的好啊。哎。国内没有音乐人啦。

我晕了，some heart不是Maria Arrdondo唱的么，个人感觉Maria的声音是怪兽级别的，和她比很不现实
