　　三个美丽的少女，身负家仇的猫眼姐妹，在警察局对面开了一家咖啡店，老二瞳子甚至还和警员内海俊夫有一搭没一搭地谈着恋爱，但在无人知道的另一面，她们却是名画大盗，因为她们在正义无法伸张的情况下，只有靠偷盗谋取那些原本应属于她们的财产，向那忘恩负义的仇人报复。以女性为主角的冒险故事在当时属于创新之作，交织着爱情、友情、正义和复仇的情节，富于生活化的写实画风、诙谐幽默的小插曲以及时而出现的华丽宏大场面也随之成为本作品的主要卖点，特别是其中写情的部分，虽嫌青涩，却也同样吸引了很多女读者。
