Interface 15: Every time I launch EndNote X2.0.1 Windows I am being asked about EndNote Web signup. How can I disable this?

Answer: We are expeting to correct this in a future update to EndNote X2. Note you can can do the following to get around the issue now:

1. Go to the "Start" Menu and type "Regedit" and hit the Enter key. On XP go to the start menu, Choose "Run" and type "Regedit" and Click OK.
2. Go to the folder
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ISI ResearchSoft\EndNote\Plugins\WebServices
3. Go to the Edit Menu, Choose "New" and then "Multi-String Value"
4. Change the name of the New String to
ShowENWebRegScreenForVer_12.0.1
5. Right Click on the string and choose Modify.
6. Set the "Value Data" to
F
7. Close the Registry Editor and launch EndNote X2.0.1.
