《波士顿法律》(Boston Legal)第五季将是最后一季，而且只有13集。

近日传来了演员变动消息，曾扮演“叁明治老太”Catherine Piper的女演员Betty White将回归。“叁明治老太”可以说是《波士顿法律》最具喜剧色彩的老妇，她曾经和一桩谋杀案有牵连，后来进入了律师事务所做兼职，并且卖起了叁明治。

第五季还将新增女演员Kimberly Williams-Paisley客串。

另外第四季中的英国美女律师Saffron Burrows将离开《波士顿法律》，加盟NBC电视台的新剧《My Own Worst Enemy》。

《波士顿法律》是美国ABC电视台的重头戏《律师本色》(The Practice)的姐妹剧，它讲述 Alan Shore 为一家律师事务所工作期间发生的故事及案件。故事集中在波士顿的一家高级律师所里，主要以民事诉讼案件为主。这些聪明的代理人必须处理法律允许他们做和该如何对抗他们不能做的。 当基本上尝试的时候，他们将会面对社会的和道德的议题。 这难解幽默感的系列究竟把我们带到怎样的故事里？

In addition, one of the founding law partners, Shirley Schmidt (played by five-time Emmy winner Candice Bergen), has been coaxed back to the Boston law firm to help bring order to the chaotic office. She keeps a vigilant eye on all, particularly Denny Crane – with whom she has a checkered history.
