怪兽大战外星人：外太空变异南瓜

《怪物大战外星人》是今年三月公映的梦工厂3D动画电影。故事讲述：加州女孩苏珊被陨石砸中，变成女巨人，并被军方逮捕。在秘密基地里，她遇见了其它几位被关押于此的怪物。不久后地球遭到外星人袭击，人类军队不敌，只好求助于怪物们来拯救地球。

《怪物大战外星人 之 外太空变异南瓜》是NBC电视台于10月28日晚播出的万圣节特别电视节目，敌人自然换成了万圣节的传统道具——南瓜灯，但却被外星飞碟倾倒的废料变异成了爱吃糖的妖怪。

角色介绍：

女巨人苏珊（Susan / Ginormica）：被陨石砸中，变成身高15.23米的女巨人。

失落怪（The Missing Link）：意思是生物史上失落的一环，他是一只两万年前被冰冻至今的鱼人。

虫恐龙（Insectosaurus）：原本是条小毛虫，被核辐射变异成了110米高的大怪兽，曾经攻击过日本东京，在电影结尾变态为蝴蝶。

B.O.B.：全称是苯甲酸XXX碳酸氢钠（Benzoate Ostylezene Bicarbonate），是基因改造的蕃茄和化学改造的沙拉酱的混合产物。它说话和做事都不经过大脑——因为它压根就没有大脑。

蟑螂博士（Dr. Cockroach）：曾是世上最聪明的科学家，他试图发明一台能让人获得蟑螂打不死的能力的仪器，可惜副作用使他的外貌也变成了蟑螂。配音演员：Hugh Laurie（《豪斯医生》豪斯）

将军沃伦蒙戈：怪物基地的人类主管。配音演员：Kiefer Sutherland（《24小时》杰克鲍尔）

Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space is based on the 2009 smash hit, Monsters vs. Aliens. It features the voices of cast members Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland and Rainn Wilson (NBC’s The Office). The special is set to air on Wednesday, October 28 (8-8:30 p.m. ET, repeating from 8:30-9 p.m. ET).

Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space is produced by Latifa Ouaou and directed by Peter Ramsey from a screenplay by Adam F. Goldberg. The story continues after the events of Monsters vs. Aliens, as Susan Murphy (Witherspoon) and the Monsters now work with the U.S. government as special operatives. When an alien presence is detected in Susan’s hometown of Modesto, California -- right before Halloween -- the team is dispatched to investigate. Everything appears normal, right down to the jack-o-lanterns peering out from every doorstep and windowsill. But when Halloween arrives, those innocent-looking carved pumpkins are revealed for what they really are -- mutant aliens. The altered pumpkins then start to implement their fiendish plan to take over Earth. The Monsters are there to combat the mutant gourds and try to smash their wicked scheme.”
