Each year in the United States more than one million children run away from home. A third of these boys and girls will end up working as teen prostitutes to survive. The Nickel Children is a narrative drama that explores this world from the point of view of two such children. On the streets, Cat and Nolan struggle each day in a world of sex, drugs and violence with little hope of escape.
