不管炮弹隆隆，难民潮汹涌，路卡一直留在那里等着妻子和米罗回来。嘉德兰卡没有回来，米罗也被捕入狱。正在那时，他从塞尔维亚士兵手下救出了一个年轻的穆族姑娘撒巴哈，使她免遭蹂躏。民兵建议他用撒巴哈去换他的儿子，但是路卡和撒巴哈却坠入了爱河……
